Today, I arrived at work to find an email from the manager whom I had bought concert tickets from the night before. He said he had actually sold those tickets to someone else. He still expects to be paid. FML

You better not pay him lol It would be moronic if you do.

He expects you to pay for something you won't get? You'll deserve it, if you pay him. Otherwise, FYL

What on earth kind of justification could he have for expecting you to pay him?

Just give him counterfeit money. He'll get what he deserves when he tries using it.

Damn, wouldn't let me edit, and I didn't notice I double posted. Ok, I'll do this here. I didn't read that right and see a manager sold it to you. Well, you still don't have to pay. Again, make sure you save any ad he might've had out for the tickets, if you didn't pay cash save any bank or credit card statements, if you have a receipt of some sort then save it, and save that e-mail. If you get fired, a demotion, or any sort of punishment you can sue since he has no basis to treat you that way. Again, save all that is above.

read it again, you probably just woke up or something

So just tell him you actually don't have the money, instead you used it on something else.
