Today, I asked a boy I like to prom by writing all over his car. After nervously sitting by the phone all day, I decided to go out to get lunch. I found the word "No!" written all over my car. FML

Today, I decided to ask my friend to the school dance, which is one where the girls ask the guys. I spent hours placing signs down his street so he would see them on his way home. As I was waiting in his driveway with balloons, I saw his car reverse and go in the opposite direction. FML

you DID NOT deserve it, us guys are different and you can't just place us all in "dont mess with our ride." I will admit you probably didn't think it through at the time but it was still a unique attempt at asking him to wherever (that took major balls to begin with). Still I think he just didn't want to go out with you because (Creepy as it may seem) as long as your not the stalker girl it would have seemed like a cool way to ask someone out...but hey its FML for a reason, driving around in car with "YES!" written all over it is one thing but a car covered in "NO!" is something quite different....

urm.....he probably said no because you wrote on his car. without his permission. i say, either wait for the guy to ask you or alternitavely ask him in person. It's the same as when asking someone out- don't ask through a note or a friend because if he says yes, things might get really akward.
