Because it's a funeral, not a movie or a library. Everyone who is clicking "FML" must be under 15 years old, because only someone that young and stupid would have so little experience in responsible settings where every logical, considerate person checks their phone as soon as they get somewhere a phone shouldn't ring. When you guys finally hit puberty and eventually grow up and get real jobs, good luck ever finding a boss that will say "oh lol it happens" when your phone goes off in an interview or a business meeting.
