Today, I bought a brand new flat screen TV. When I brought it home it didn't work. Furious, I walked into Best Buy and yelled at a guy in a tucked in blue polo and khakis. I asked him why it didn't work and he said he didn't know. I kept screaming. He didn't have a nametag. He didn't work there. FML

Even if he had a name tag, why would you yell at him? "Hey, you work here! You must know exactly what's wrong with the TV I bought from some other employee a while ago! "

Oh, MAN! Haha, I WORK at Best Buy... and that's just funny. :) Honest mistake on your part, I'd say. People who walk into Best Buy with khakis and blue polos are just asking to be asked for help. But of course yelling at the guy was completely uncalled for. I work Loss Prevention (security) and deal with rude customers ALL the time. You people suck. Have a good day.

speaking as someone who works at Best Buy, you deserved this one. Potential random employee has no clue who you are or what your TV situation is, that the store did not box your TV and is not responsible for how it was made, and they are not responsible for your ignorance when it comes to hooking up a TV. In the case that it was a lemon, it's the manufacturer's fault and there's a 30 day return policy with Best Buy. And despite what that one commercial may imply, Best Buy employees are not capable of reading your mind.

You are one of those idiots that go places and think just because you're the customer, you automatically right about everything and have the right to be disrespectful towards any and all employees that work there. I promise you that any employee will give you crappy customer service after that and will probably give your replacement tv a drop before giving it back to you. If I was that customer, I would have told you off and punched you in the face.. Where do you work at..I want to go to your job and yell and harass you. See how you like it.

Today, I went to buy something from Best Buy. A random person with a TV box starts screaming at me complaining her TV didn't work. I was wearing a blue polo and khakis. She thought I was a Best Buy employee - I'm receiving my MBA from Yale next month. FML

Serves you right for being such an asshole. FYI, it's not their fault the TV didn't work. Next time think a little before immediately trying to leap down an innocent employee's throat (and in this case, some poor bastard who didn't even work there)!
