Today, I bought a pair of new speakers for my comp. I forgot I had installed various volume enhancing programs and also maxed out all sound settings. I connected the new speakers and played some music. The sound destroyed them. FML

Ouch! I was DJ at party and went out for a drink for a few seconds. Someone turned the volume up fully on the computer I used for music. When I ran back, all of my amplifiers had glowing input clipping and peak LEDs on them. Now I always use a compressor/limiter for protection. DC voltages will burn speakers up really fast!

Idiot. Volume on ZERO when you hit play after wiring something new up, THEN turn it up. Common sense.

Speakers are too small for your amplifier

AHahhahahahaha. I mean, that's terrible.

I hate when people shorten words that do not need to be shortened

I must agree with you. That was completely uncalled for and unnecessary

There is a character limit to posting an FML. I'm not going to count the characters, but OP could have shortened computer because of said character limit.
