Today, I bought an $80, "invincible" phone case. One test drop later, my phone had turned into an expensive paperweight. FML

Even if it was 'invincible', or made the phone invincible at least, it may only be for the first drop, like a crash helmet, so dropping it was a pretty dumb idea all round. At $80, wouldn't it be smarter to save the money for later replacements/repairs, seeing as the phone may later malfunction or something regardless of it being dropped?

If this was a lifeproof case, the directions clearly stated to close the case up WITHOUT THE PHONE INSIDE and submerge it underwater to make sure it works.
