Today, I was looking in my laundry basket for a clean tank top to wear. As I felt around, I realized that most of my clothes were still wet after two days. After asking my mom what was wrong with the dryer, I found out that for two days my cat had been using my laundry basket as a litter box. FML

Today, my husband thought it was the best idea ever to clean the cat's litter box with the brand new vacuum cleaner instead of tipping it into a bin bag. My house now fills with the smell of warm cat piss every time I hoover. FML

Today, my mom read online you could train cats to relieve themselves in the toilet. Without reading any further, she took away the litter tray. My house reeks of cat piss and shit, and she still refuses to give the cat its litter tray back, insisting it'll work eventually. FML

I had the same problem so I took my cat to the vet and she ended up having a bladder infection and needing medicine. She's better now.

Cats like to do their business is soft loose material so get rid of anything like that and they should go to the box on their own. If not take them to the vet because that's a sign that something is wrong like an infection or constipation.

I have the same problem. I've replaced two carpeted rooms with hardwood. my floor stays freezing cold and my cat will pee on any rugs, clothes, fabric I leave on the floor becomes my cats' new litter spot.
