Today, I broke my right leg. I've had one shot of morphine, and even that only relieved the pain a little. It's now totally worn off and I have yet to get pain medication of any kind. My leg has been broken for over nine hours now. FML

Good call 104. I'm pretty smart, but I had completely overlooked the fact that OP might have broken her leg by breaking the bone. Thanks for your diagnosis, doctor.

I'd do the same - OP's probably posting from a phone or iPod. I'd need to get my mind distracted and so I'm always on the FML app.

I suffer from chronic pain, and I often use the Internet to help take my mind off of it. If the distraction works, go with it.

That happened to my sister. She broke her arm at school and they told her she was fine. She sat there for two more hours before they let her go to the nurse.

Same thing happened to my daughter, except it was the school nurse who told her she was fine, and would not send her home.

Dang been there when I broke my left arm the ER took 4 hours just to say "it's broken" and recommend me to an orthopedist who molded the cast so poorly that I need surgery that caused my arm to take an extra 4 weeks to recover and put pins in my arms and bones which were pulled out while I was awake. I feel for ya.

When I was 18 months old I went 6 days without a cast on a spiral fracture on my femur because the doctor was stupid (after I did get a cast the x rays disappeared) with no medication.
