Today, I came back to my appartment to find that I couldn't watch certain channels on my tv. When I called the tv company I found out my parents had put a 'parental block' on all my favorite channels. Im 22 and rent an appartment with my friends. FML

I don't see how your parents could do this, unless they own the cable account and pay your bill (at age 22)... so you deserve this.

Can't you just tell the company to remove the block? If you can't because your parents are paying the bill, then I suggest that you and your roommates start drumming up a little extra cash to pay for your own.

If you're in your own apartment and your parents still pay for your cable, then perhaps it's a good idea to get off the couch and get a job. It's not like your favorite channels are available anymore.

That doesn't make too much sense to me..unless your parents pay for you and your friends to watch tv..in which case pay the bill yourself or deal with it.

Hahahahaha! Brilliant! This is definitely like something mine would do! I assume they put parental block on the **** channels tho, or else this wouldn't make sense, so shame on you for your favourite channels being the pornos!!

I agree with the others about you paying the bill yourself, but what I'm wondering is what kind of channels were you watching that your parents decided that they needed to block them? I'm suprised nobody else has said that yet...

don't think that OP's favorites r def. inappropriate, my parents blocked stuff like family guy, american dad, and the simpsons for chrissakes (it sucks DICK)

Check to make sure it is not a prank from your roommates...

and you can't even spell apartment.

hahahahaha well good for your parents, if they're still paying your cable bill... at age 22... when you're living "on your own".

Maybe if you prove to your parents that you're old enough to know how to spell the word "apartment", they'll know you're grown-up enough to watch whatever you want.
