Today, I came home after doing some Black Friday shopping for Christmas presents. I told my husband I got the must-have toy our daughter has been dying for. As soon as I said it, I heard squealing and turned around to see her standing right behind me. There goes the surprise. FML

Today, my husband called me from the store, trying to decide whether or not to buy the new games console he's been wanting. I'd already purchased one and hid it, ready for Christmas Day. I couldn't talk him into not buying himself one. There goes a $500 surprise. FML

Today, I opened my Christmas presents with my husband. One of the things he got me was a ball gag. "Yeah," he said with a grin, "That one's more for me but I didn't wanna buy myself headphones." Cue our son asking me what it was. FML

Today, I was with my seven year old daughter purchasing my husband a present for his birthday in a few weeks. At the register, in the very long line, I asked her where we could hide his present so he wouldn't find it, she responded loudly with "Hide it in your room! He never goes in there!" FML

Today, my mom and I went to Best Buy for some Christmas shopping. She picked up some presents for me and told me not to look at what she was buying. When we got to the register, she didn't have enough money, and I ended up having to buy my own presents. FML

Well it's still okay to wrap it up and hide it until Christmas. I'm sure she is happy to have a family that loves her and gets her what she wants at times .

How old is she? If she's young she will probably forget haha even i pick stuff out I want and my mom buys it and I forget. Happens all the time xD

To confuse her, put it in a box that is mostly empty and completely oversized for the item. She will see the big box and nothing the size the present is meant to be and think you forgot or something. At least that's what I would do. (Or if it's too big, take a photo of it and put that in a card and hide the actual present - still not seeing something the size it is meant to be)
