Definitely FYL, but at the same time it's petty to wish that she be fired if she's a good teacher. You should probably switch schools if it makes you uncomfortable, but it's selfish to think that all the other kids should miss out on a good teacher just because she brings up bad memories for you.

I can see how this sucks for you, but the woman does not deserve to get fired for having a relationship (or sexual encounter or whatever) with a consenting adult...

I'm really quite tired of arrogant Europeans bashing the American system; considering that western European nations are incapable of growing economically on anything like American levels, have lost most of their political and military influence, are riddled with chronically high unemployment and bloated welfare states with unsustainable safety nets and ageing, shrinking, populations, I'm ok with the American system, even if we like our guns too much. At least the USA isn't swamped with unassimilated waves of angry Muslims, which is more than you can say for France. And yet the USA still attracts the most immigrants in the world, so it must be doing something right.

@192: Complaints from parents do not warrant termination under any circumstances. The affair would not have any right, legal or otherwise, to fire her even if she were the worst teacher in the school. If the parents don't like it, they can take their kids out and put them in another institution. Their moral objections do not warrant the removal of a valuable faculty member or the jeopardization of her career.

umm sorry, but unless scissoring is better than a man using his hand or mouth, then sex with a woman is the same as sex with a man purely based on generalization. granted, women may for the most part know what women want better than men, but then shouldn't women simply tell men what they want? most men would do anything for their woman to have them ******. but most women are too insecure to talk about these things, which has nothing to do with me having a penis.
