They'll believe you when you bring someone home, I bet.

At least you were brave enough to do it

Aww. Well I wish you the best of luck, hopefully they take you seriously soon, and respect your decisions. :)

That's gay of your parents not to listen. Show them some proof.. I'm sure thst will help.

At least being gay is more understood and accepted. I came out as trans to my parents a couple of days ago. My parents think (and hope) it's a phase and they legitimately cannot understand or believe anything yet.

I can understand how it's difficult for parents to reconcile "not losing a daughter, but gaining a son" and vice versa. That being said, I sincerely hope they come to grips with your truth and you're able to surround yourself with positive, supportive people. Hang in there!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that... this is why I won't come out until I've moved out.

Well you can't say u didn't warn them when u start bringing home guys lol

If I were gay, my parents would shout and screem, but yours are just laughing? You should be happy :)

Yeah, OP should be happy about his parents for not believing him about being gay. Hey, what if OP's parents are lying to themselves and realize OP is gay and are closet homophobes and treat OP like crap? Should OP be happy then?

You are aware that just because a guy is gay that doesn't make him a female right? Being gay doesn't make you less of a man.

I'm sorry your parents aren't being receptive and accepting. I hope that changes in the near future.
