Today, I carpooled with my co-worker whose girlfriend has left him. The radio was playing the song "Jar of Hearts." He then began to sing intensely, and broke down crying. FML

Newsflash: MEN HAVE FEELINGS. You're an insensitive ass. No but seriously, that song sucks.

Shoulda given him a sweet and spicy backhand to the facial area, then kissed him gently. He'd be too confused to cry.

so whos payin for the gas this trip should have taken the bus

Wow yeah I can see how awful it would be to watch someone else go through a sad break up. In case you didn't catch that sarcasm-though I was laying it on pretty thick-I don't feel bad for you!!

Well, there are two possible scenairos here: 1. He was singing that suck ass song, realized he knew all the words and that caused him to break down and cry coming to the full realization that he is hopeless. 2. He was in a deep depression over losing his girlfriend and the song pushed it over the edge. IF.....it is scenairo number 1. Never invite him into your automobile again wihtout a CLEAR understanding that there is to be no singing, no crying, no Jar of Hearts. IF....it is scenairo number 2. Be a friend and give him a shoulder to lean on. You never know, you might need the same one day

Awkward situation. But seriously you should have tried to comfort him.

I really hope he wasn't the one driving. Otherwise, if you were driving and he didn't have his belt on you could have slammed on the brakes. That would have stopped him. Otherwise a dry (well slightly moist if you count the tears) slap to the upside of his head should have done the trick.

I listen to opera when i'm heart broken.
