Today, I confessed my feelings to the guy I've had the biggest crush on. He spent the next ten minutes calling me delusional, said that I know nothing about him, and laughed that "this isn't Twilight, for fuck's sake". All he did when I started crying was pat me on the head and leave. FML

Sounds like a self-conceited asshole. You dodged a bullet, OP. If he was already destroying your emotions seconds after your confession, it was most likely never going to work out. Find someone who'll accept your emotions. And if you didn't know anything about him - Then perhaps that's a lesson to take away from this. Get to know someone a little bit before confessing to them.

He could have been a lot less rude but if you've never talked to him for an extended period of time and just randomly started confessing your love without knowing his personality, beliefs, morals or goals in life then I understand why he found you creepy and annoying, especially if it bored on twilight type obsession. He also mentioned you were delusional if you start spouting off about marriage, love, wanting to be together to a man you arent even friends with, maybe he has a point. Not sure why everyone is calling him a jerk and asshole without hearing his side of story, he could be a genuinely nice guy while OP is a delusional stalker.
