She didn't say she put him on the diet...he may have decided to do it. My friend decided to go on a diet and he is a guy, nobody forced him too. A lot of guys do diet, or at least eat healthy to lose weight while they're gaining muscle.
Sucks for you, funny for us. This is a true FML. On the bright side at least you found out now and won't be divorced from the ass and stuck raising his kids by yourself in a couple years.
Some of these comments are sickening, and extremely sexist as well. Is wanting to have a healthy husband so bad? Going on a diet doesn't just have to be for vanity, you know. I bet if it were the other way around, a lot more people would be sympathetic, since it's ok for men to tell women what to do, but it's "henpecking" when a woman does it. And #63, you're sickening.
YDI for forcing him to go on a diet. He didn't force you to, did he? Probably not. So why should you force him to?
Right there with ya, #80. Are there Bridazons who'd drive their betrothed insane to make their wedding pictures perfect? Yes, but there are also plenty of controlling men who'd pressure their women into losing excessive weight in order to look hot for him. At any rate, if you end up with one of those psychos, do you try to fix the situation with the other person and end things if they can't be fixed? No, screwing another person is the proper solution according to plenty of posters here.
It's always questions like this one that lead to truths you weren't prepared for....Had you rephrased the question, you wouldn't have known he was cheating... Sometimes, being a bridezilla is a good thing....BE2 glad you found out now versus after you were married or the night before the wedding...
YDI&FYL Why the hell are you forcing him into a wedding diet? You do realize half that shit fails because people pig out afterwards right? FYL though because your fiancee cheated on you. Dump him.
Actually, my husband and i are due to get married in a couple of months and he wanted to put himself on a strict diet so he didn't have a bloated tummy and what he thought were man boobs during our wedding ceremony. When he started that diet a month ago he wanted me to keep up on him and tell him if he was doing something wrong because he knew that he couldn't do it on his own due to the lack of temptation to food. *we like good food lol* I constantly have to ask him if eating a sort of food was necessary or if he really needs it. I feel like a drill sargent sometimes but that is what he ASKED me to do. Who says op's husband wanted to be on a diet for the same reason and she was just trying to bring to his attention that his careless eating pizza at work was going to ruin his hard work to lose weight on his diet. Doesn't matter the situation anyway, cheating is cheating , no matter how it all happened in the first place. Besides, they are not even married yet, so shes still probably giving it out alot. Hes just a scum bag:P

Thank goodness you found out now! But really, his secretary? How un-original.
