Perhaps she's run up tens of thousands of dollars in debt to boot? A child he's not ready for might just have been the breaking point and child support might be cheaper at this point than keeping her around.

I normally wouldn't suggest this, but yes, you should divorce him. Though I doubt this is the first time he's shown signs of being a jerk, no one deserves to be treated that way.

16 is correct. People don't change that drastically. OP knew that her boyfriend at the time was an ass. Yet she continued to date him because she probably liked the "bad boy" thing. And now she's pregnant with a total fool as a dad, she can only blame herself. Next time, choose a REAL man. I hope you have better judgment and better taste in your next life.
