My girlfriend used to, until she found out that the very smell of it makes me gag, due to my body's inability to handle second-hand smoke. So don't be stupid he's doing it for the good of people like me.

71 Second hand smoke is referring to massive amounts like an enclosed room with lots of people smoking (like a bar) NOT the tiny amount you might smell outside. If the small amount you smell outside is bothering you that much then Psychologically you might be retarded or just plain dumb.

And again 40, it wasn't a joke. If OP said that to his best friend or a relative all in fun that would be different. Even if he had been "joking" with the MMA guy (which he clearly wasn't - he was being a condescending asshole), he still shouldn't joke like that with people he doesn't know. OP clearly thinks he's morally superior to others and was judging people. Maybe a full fledged beating wasn't warranted but he more than deserved it.
