Heard people would name their kids things like Sparta so that they could introduce them like this: 'THIS, IS, SPARTA!' Gotta admit, it's kind of funny.

Parents will name their children obviously messed up named just to get a laugh from the reference it implies. On the news, two parents got in trouble and had to deal with a custody battle for naming their son and daughter Adolf hitler and Aryan race.

At the restaurant I use to work at there was a girl who spelt her name out for me, so that I could put her name in the reservation log. She pronounced it truh-Shay. But it was spelt trashy. Very classy. -.-
