Today, I'd just finished feeding my parrot and sweeping all the seeds under the cage. As I was walking away, my parrot whistled. I turned around to see him get up onto the food dish, pick up a clawful of food and toss it on the floor. FML

Parrots have the intelligence equivalence of a 5 year old child... therefore, anticipate it to behave like a child. Another random (unrelated) parrot fact: there is actually a mental hospital somewhere over in England that primarily cares for parrots that have gone insane.

My parrot does this all the time. I think it is kinda cute :) You should discipline him more. It isnt a matter of attention, it's a matter of disciplime.
