That happens, when you have delicate hair, very thin, almost like a spider web, if so, you probably should have went to a salon, I have hair like I described, and the closest I got to blonde was highlights.
You should never bleach your hair with someone who isn't experienced. Bleaching your hair makes it very brittle and dry, and it tends to just break off or fall out if not done correctly or treated with something to moisturize it.
