Today, I decided to be safe and tested a small dime-sized amount of Nair on my inner arm before using it. I didn't react badly. But as soon as it was washed off from my down-there hair I sure as hell reacted, with small bumpy red dots that look like an STD. FML

Today, I wanted to look really good for my date. I was a little self-conscious, so I decided to use Nair on my upper lip just in case I had a female mustache. Unfortunately, it turns out I'm allergic to Nair. Now I DO have a mustache. A rash mustache. FML

Today, I got a new skin cream for my acne. I tested it on a small patch of skin just to make sure I wasn't allergic. I was, and the reaction didn't stay on that small patch of skin. My left arm is now almost entirely covered in a horrible rash. FML

Today, I was eating out with my partner, and we decided to use the new lube we bought. Things went great until I later realized I was allergic to it and a large red rash spread all across my mouth and chin. It won't go away. FML

Today, I was going to bleach my bikini line, as I have not been able to shave there due to some ingrown hairs, and I also have to lifeguard every day. As it turns out, I'm allergic to the bleach. There is now an angry red, burning rash on my crotch that you can see around my swimsuit. FML

Today, I was in a rush to get ready for work so I quickly shaved my legs. In my haste, I accidentally nicked myself in a very sensitive area and had to spend the day simmering in discomfort and checking my crotch every so often to make I wasn't bleeding through my pants. FML

Today, I have a skin disease that causes my arms and legs to have small, but noticeable, red bumps on them. Trying to stay confident, I put on a swimsuit and went to the pool, only to be bumped into by a cute guy, who then asked why my arms were so "bumpy and disgusting." FML

I thought they had special Nair for the bikini line and pubic hair? You aren't supposed to use the normal one, it can make you bleed among other things. But even if you didn't, still. That sucks. Waxing is a good alternative.

No worries, same thing happens to a lot of people after shaving. It's called irritation. I have bad reactions to all chemicals, so I am stuck with the blades. You should try testing it on your legs, to see if it reacts. If it doesn't, then it's fine- just normal irritation. There are simple soothing things to minimize it and relieve it (and sometimes make it vanish it completely)... vaseline, aloe...

People who are scolding her for using it on her pubes, leave her alone! I use a generic hair removal cream that's for both legs AND pubes. And honestly, I never call it "hair removal cream," I call it "Nair." No one just calls it hair removal cream. It's like how everyone says Xerox, or Kleenex, or Windex, or Jello. Now yeah, it's EXTREMELY likely that it was indeed Nair, and it wasn't intended for use down there. But unless you were with her while this happened, ease off, folks!

67 is an idiot. if there were always red bumps there they would also cover the mass majority of your body where the hair isn't very thick so that you would be able to see it. red bumps are a sign of irritation also idk if anyone has mentioned this but not all the comments show up on my iPod. &OP is the biggest idiot of course
