Today, I decided to be safe and tested a small dime-sized amount of Nair on my inner arm before using it. I didn't react badly. But as soon as it was washed off from my down-there hair I sure as hell reacted, with small bumpy red dots that look like an STD. FML

you're not supposed to use it on your vj, dumbass. the skin there is so much more sensitive than the rest of your body. YDI for not reading the ******* label.

I thought they had special Nair for the bikini line and pubic hair? You aren't supposed to use the normal one, it can make you bleed among other things. But even if you didn't, still. That sucks. Waxing is a good alternative.

YDI for using it on your pubic area. Even if you buy the special formula of Nair it's only for your BIKINI LINE. Please read instructions.

Mordella, you got it right. Any "full body" Nair product is for anywhere BUT that area. And the bikini line Nair product is exactly for just the bikini line. And hate to say it to you, but once the hair down there starts growing in, you're going to have to deal with a lot of ingrown hairs. Would hate to be in your situation.

Where else would she test it? She was probably looking for a little spot of sensitive skin in a non-embarrassing area.

well, it said not to use on pubic area 1., and 2. thats what happens when you shave there as well. w.e.

use baby powder after you shower...that will help the redness and swelling or diaper ointment both are made to help sooth redness and swelling in those very sensitive areas

bc it still requires you to test on a small patch of skin and most ppl dont test shit out down there

Yeah, LexiBro, totally and utterly incorrect. You literally just stated the exact opposite of the truth. Gynos specifically suggest that you don't shave down there, at least no completely, due to the fact that pubic hair does, in fact, have a purpose. Without it you're more susceptible to disease, yeast infections, etc. But as someone else said, I have nothing against waxing or shaving and I completely understand why people choose to do it, but at least get your facts straight.

tea tree oil is the best, I need to wax/shave my pubic hair all the time and especially around the time I'm starting to get all pmsy I get super sensitive and am prone to red bumps etc. so I swear by tea tree oil, baby powder is also good, or just plain old sorbolene cream

Uhh. YDI for using any kind of chemicals down there. D:

YDI It says on the Nair bottle NOT to use it down there!
