Today, I decided to go get my hair cut because it was getting a bit long. I told the lady that I wanted it way short and she replied "Why? You will look like a guy sweetie." I am a guy. FML

If she's that blind, you don't want her anywhere near your hair with scissors.

Dummies. Honestly. Before my boyfriend's voice cracked (and it went down to the bottom of the ocean: he's a bass 2 now), people made fun of his hair and called him a girl. It's really quite lovely, though.

It would be worse if you were a girl mistaken for a guy, adleast theres a chance that your pretty. Any girl that looks like a guy is most likely ugly.

Why does she think she has a right to say that, whether youre a girl or a boy? If a girl wants to get her hair cut short, so be it. Dont ******* question her. Anyways, youre lifes not ****** that bad. I used to get mistaken for a guy all the time before I grew these awesome ****. Just get a haircut or some muscles or somethin

She gave an opinion. She wasn't saying you look like a girl purposely to spite you. She said it because she thought you were a girl and was looking out for you.

LOL! This made me laugh:] Sorry about that though. Maybe next time you will know not to leave your hair that long?

fake. hairdressers sign a contract when they're hired, and part of the contract says they must never react negatively to a customer's request. otherwise they get fired.

you must work at some crappy chain store or have a boss that huffs paint, I've never heard of that in any contract. Not only is it not legally binding as "react negatively" is vague and subjective, but that would also mean if a guy came in and said "cut my balls off" you should do it or get fired...

#61: Are you kidding me; hairstylists do NOT sign any such contracts. I have been a hairstylist for a very long time and have worked at many salons, and not once have I ever been approached to sign such a retarded contract. As a stylist, you are suppose to help the client make the right choice. If you know a style will look terrible on someone, you stop and tell them why! It's apart of the job. Customer service.
