Does it say anywhere that this person is a man? Everyone is criticizing "him" for buying girl's shampoo, but maybe "he" is really female. I could be wrong, but it's just a thought.

i had thought that too, but would a girl really buy expensive shampoo without smelling it? cheap grabbed off the shelf in a hurry yeah, but not expensive... plus very few shampoos are actually 'girls'. I think herbal essence is more or less the only brand which is exclusively female, so it being a girl/guy is irrelevant...
