Today, I discovered that my son has an allergy to cats. My partner of two years, not wanting to fight, suggested a compromise: that my son and the cat take turns sleeping outside. FML

I'm allergic to cats too and all my friends have at least two of them. your son should be fine as long as you make sure your dusting regularly. but sleeping outside sounds fun!! let's introduce him to some outdoors!!!!

A cat is NOT a child, and she not be treated as one. I love animals, but I know the difference between an animal(domestic or not) and a human being. I hope she was joking, but if not, get a new partner.

i have an allergy to cats and still have three of them. my moms alletgic too and has one. with a little care and cleanliness its possible for both too live together still.
