Today, I discovered that the seal on my driver's door is defective. I made this discovery when I got rained on while I was getting my car washed. FML

is it a pontiac? I had the same issue with mine when it was BRAND NEW. took it back and bitched and they fixed it.

Had this problem in Nebraska. Basically, melting snow drips down onto the seals at the top of the door, and then re-freezes when the temperature drops. When you open the door, older or cheaper seals 'glued' to the frame this way sometimes tear. This tends to happen right around the time it starts to get warm again, when daytime temperatures hover just above freezing... coincidentally, also the time when the roads start to clear and people wash the ice/salt off their car. This really is a little common. FYL indeed, OP.
