But knitting needles aren't regular needles. They're a little sharp but it shouldn't be bad enough to make you bleed.
But being poked by a blunt object hurts like a bitch. I've had some nasty bruises from the same thing OP described.
I crochet but aren't there different sizes of needles? With smaller ones isn't there a chance to have enough force for it to pierce? Though as someone else said, whether it did or not it could really hurt..
Suddenly I'm glad I only know how to crochet.
Ive had that happen with my crochet hooks.. ouch OP! I hope they didnt hurt you too badly. xx
I hope they were not double pointed needles...
I feel for you! I once tried to catch a cactus that my cat pushed down from windowsill.
Reflex catches can be a bitch! I once caught a big piece of lab' glassware just a fraction of a second _after_ it hit the sink. That was a visit to ER. Hope you aren't too sore OP.
can appreciate this my Mum say on needle and needed tetanus shot Best was when she boarded plane and started knitting Flight attendant how did you get that on board
Ouch! That sucks OP. So did you finish the knitting yet?
