Today, I facebooked my friends about my upcoming birthday party, and told them to keep the date free. I got several responses telling me that's not possible, because that's the day the new Harry Potter movie comes out. FML

To those saying it is the OP's fault for having their birthday the day of the film premiere, or that bad fiction is greater than them: SHUT. THE. HELL. UP. I despise you people for thinking that some of the worst literature written in the modern era is automatically a better thing than a friend. Face it: Harry Potter sucks, and your behaviour is no different than nonviolent religious fanatics. Learn to accept that reality is significantly better than fiction. Stop masturbating to your Harry Potter book and go look at the world.

God bless you, man. Finally, someone who doesn't have their head shoved up Harry Potter's fictional ass. I've read all the Harry Potter books, liked them, and will probably go see the movie, but for god's sake my friends are a LITTLE bit more important than a stupid movie premiere. You can go see it the next day!! All of you who said YDI for having your birthday party the day of the premiere are HORRIBLE people and you don't deserve any friends. I hope all of your friends, if you even have any considering what huge nerds you are, reject your birthday parties to go see a movie that you hate.
