Sorry, but I'd go to see Harru Potter instead. You could just change the date and still have an amazing party with your friends, but there's nothing like seeing a movie on the opening night with all your friends. The atmosphere is great, and the movie will be just brilliant... so yeah. Also, you kind of deserved this as you obviously know your friends well enough to invite them to a party, you'd know them well enough that you know that they like Harry Potter, and you could have worked a date out together :) YDI. Sorry =( But rearrange the date and everything will be ok!
when does the movie come out? sucks for you by the way
Ha, you got blown off because of harry potter... Just another reason why you should hate those movies.
wow its not like the opening day is the ONLY day people can see harry potter. unless they already bought the tickets, their just jackasses because the theaters will prob be full anyways i am not a harry hotter fan, but i wouldnt be low enough to ditch a friends birthday for something like a movie. a concert of your fave artist who will only be in town for that night? maybe. but a movie that will be playing over and over and over for months? no
haha. dumbass. i would drop my birthday date and move it before one or after one. i'm def seeing that movie first day it comes out too.
Think about it.... think about it.... think about it.... Oh! How about you switch your birthday party to another day? Harry Potter's just too awesome to be missed opening night. You should know that already. And to #207: if you think it's lame to have friends who see Harry Potter, you are either blind or a pretentious git, because it's actually colleges now that have the most rabid Harry Potter fanbase. And high schools. That's where all the true fans are, the ones that have been with the books all the way. Last time I went to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix opening night, I was 17 and the youngest in a group of 7 or 8. My older sister (21 at the time) took me with some of her friends from work (all older than her). So clearly you're going to find Harry Potter fans in every age bracket. So don't be a dunce.

I would honestly have to agree. Opening night of Harry Potter matches no other.
pshh who wouldn't go watch Harry Potter instead *light bulb goes on in head* maybe you can have your birthday party at the movie theater!
