Today, I was sitting in the airport, watching the baggage handlers load the plane I was about to get on. They were being really rough with it, one bag came open and all the clothes spilled out onto the tarmac. The clothes looked familiar. They were mine. FML

Today, I found out that one of my best mates had his backpack, clothes, and everything else in it stolen at an airport overseas. I was feeling sorry for him all day. It took me 9 hours to remember that I actually loaned him my backpack for his trip. FML

Why? Why socks? And a helpful hint, if you tie your bags straps to your wrist or leg you will feel when someone tugs on it to open it if you fall asleep, but sorry to hear that OP. At least it was only socks and not something important!.

That's honestly pretty funny. Comfy, warm socks are incredibly valuable to the homeless. Write it off as your good deed for the day and a lesson learned about sleeping in public places.
