Well, after looking at the for a few seconds, I decided I can't give a shit.
YDI for thinking you're better than everyone else and being clean.
Well, you can buy your own washing machine, like normal people
40, comment wreaks of logic.
You can find cheap or free appliances on craigslist, but many apartments don't have washer/dryer hookups.
here in Spain everybody has their own appliances in most homes, AFAIK
you guys are so dumb! OP trusted that his/her clothes would be washed properly and left. then someone came in when it was just getting started and replaced OP's clothes with theirs. make sense now? that's how things are when you live in a condo or small appartment building
Washers stop when you open them. Meaning, in my experience, you have to re-pay. Your detergent would also drain. In addition, if your clothes were wet, you would probably not notice that they hadn't been fully washed unless they were literally covered in dirt. I think it is much more likely that there were rows of washers and the OP payed for/put detergent in the washer next to his washer. To the OP: worse things have happened. You wasted an hour and a few quarters. No one stole your clothes... or dropped a nuclear bomb on your house.
maybe you could have talked to the other person kindly, OP. then maybe you could have gotten money or something. but YDI
My chat is worth millions. I'm sending you a bill for this response right now.
Oh no you may have wasted two whole dollars! How terrible.
Noooooo! $1.50 down the drain!
