You're better off without that bitch.
@4 Both!
YDI for saying proceeded and then right next to each other. Use one or the other son!!!!!!! Just use then because 'proceeded' is very unnecessary and annoying.
proceeded x[ will they ever learn? anyway, yeah that stinks
You had a whole year to tell her & you didn't, so no sympathy for you
I don't understand how the girl is a bitch. He never said that he had gone through with asking her out, so how would she know? She still had feelings for her ex, figured she was just at lunch with a friend, got back together with her ex, and figured there was nothing wrong with driving all together. I wish everyone would shut up about the word 'proceeded'. It's just a word. Let the posters use it.
That sucks. Except Im kinda confused. Did you leave with them or did she leave you stranded? And #14 makes a point. Then and proceeded are basically the same thing, so its like your saying then then or proceeded proceeded. I don't know why some of you feel the need to sound smart. Just write correctly thats all we ask for. Stop using huge ass words.

She left you stranded there?! If she did she's an ass, and you're better off without her.
I'm not sure if this FML is about losing a potential GF or losing a ride home :D
