Today, I finally had sex with a girl I've been dating for over a month. Before we got started she told me not to worry about the birth control because she could handle that. So after we finished I asked her what kind of birth control she used. She said she meditated. FML

Hopefully, for the possible child's sake, she doesn't get pregnant. I'd feel sorry for the poor kid to have parents like either of you... FYI for those who have said a woman can get pregnant any day of the month and also those who claim it's only 3 days in the entire month-- Did any of you take biology? If so, did you pass? There is ONE day in the entire month when a woman's egg can be fertilized. The reason they say it could be 3 days or any day of the month is because it is extremely hard to pinpoint the exact day. For those of us who are trying to have a baby and have been trying for years, it is frustrating to know this. But of all people, I think we know best. My husband and I have been trying for our first for about a year now, and still no sign of a baby-to-be. But anyway, YDI for not using a condom. And I don't feel sorry for you if you end up paying child support for the next 18 years. I feel bad for the poor child. Also, "finally" after a month, that is ridiculous... If you really cared about her, you'd wait patiently for her, not saying "finally" when it does happen. I'm not saying you have to wait for marriage, because my husband and I sure as hell didn't, but we also waited until we had talked about birth control and consequences and responsibilities. If you aren't responsible enough to talk about these things BEFORE having sex, you shouldn't be having sex.

The reason they say it's three days isn't the pinpointing issue, it's the fact that sperm can live a couple days inside you. I'm sorry that you aren't pregnant. Look, don't think I'm nuts, think of the holographic universe, and imagine yourself pregnant every time you make love right after you do it. I'm betting it will help, because your brain has enormous control, dare I say complete control over your body. People have cured themselves of cancer by imagining it in their mind.
