Screw flood lights, that's why we have guns.
Don't get blinds, get a new place. If your neighbors are getting burglarized enough for floodlights to be necessary, then I would suggest moving somewhere with less crime. Or getting a gun. Either one works.
Why wouldn't you have covered the window to block the light? YDI
Don't worry OP, I'm sure they'll steal those floodlights again next time.
Well. All that money they spent on those lights is just useless. Flood lights don't scare of burglars that much anyway. Most burglars rob houses in the middle of the day! Sorry about your loss of sleep. Like everyone else, I recommend some black out curtains or blinds. They work wonders!
Sue them for putting lights up? I know the lights they put up are super bright but I'm pretty sure that's not a reason to sue. There's things you could get to block out the sun, like those black-out curtains. If they don't want to spend money they could always tape a black garbage bag to the window frame...it'll block out the light and stay hidden if they have curtains up.
Honestly I'd probably get so annoyed that I'd want to break in too.
Sorry to hear about your lack of sleep! I'am a very light sleeper. I suggest getting black out curtains(or if you don't want to spend the money,a blanket of some sort) to cover your window as well as use an eye mask and ear plugs. maybe even add a small desk fan on your bedside table to add some white noise. I do all of this every night, it truly works wonders. Nothing is better than a good nights sleep!!

Hey op here's a tip for the lights put a sheet up over the window to block out the light. Hope you get some sleep soon.
Watt's the big deal? You don't sound very bright to me. Let me shed some light on the situation - hang some blackout shades and wear ear plugs.
