Today, I finally put the finishing touches on my first vacation in over two years, due to my hellish work schedule. The Governor essentially just vetoed my vacation with evacuation orders. Thanks, Hurricane Irene. FML

Yeah that sucks. FYL. it could be worse though.. You could be the ppl that have a home in these places. We were supposed to have a nice cool weekend(I'm in SC) and because of her it will be near 100.. I would have rather have the wind and rain.. We felt the earthquake here too... I'm starting to wonder what's going on..

I have a beach house in Sussex deleware. (Bethany beach) we live there during the summer, but had to evac. back to MD :/

We were hoping for it to hit us here in SC because like a lot of states we need the rain and it would bring us out of our drought. To everyone that's in the path.. Stay safe, and I hope your homes don't get messed up too bad..

How do you have it good when you have earthquakes, mudslides, and wild fires? Do you think y'all don't get hurricanes? If so you are wrong the east coast can get them too
