Today, I finally put the finishing touches on my first vacation in over two years, due to my hellish work schedule. The Governor essentially just vetoed my vacation with evacuation orders. Thanks, Hurricane Irene. FML

Could be a lot worse; I live in Myrtle Beach, but because there's only a 'chance' of getting hit I'm not allowed off work to leave.

Be grateful for that. Y'all could be the bulls eye for it. With her being a cat 3 by the time she got done you may have not had a job to go back too or a home. So quit complaining and be happy for that and the fact you have a job.

I live in Maryland. I felt the earthquake alright. And had a panick attack during it! Now were getting a hurricane, the day were supposed to have a pool party at my house. Not happening now
