Lol how many people think op (who is a girl tryig to lose weight not a bodybuilder) is doing the kind of exercise that would make her gain more than 6lbs if muscle in a month. Even on whey protein and and a high protein 8 meal a day plan it would be extremely hard to gain that without maxing with heavy weights and deliberately trying to gain muscle
If she hasn't been exercising hardly at her whole life it wouldn't be that hard to gain 6 pounds of muscle after a month of exercise
lol tht sucks luckily for me I have like the fastest metabolism in the world I tried gaining weight by eating junk food and sitting on a couch for a week and still lost weight
Same here I tried gaining weight for football but no matter what I do It doesn't work
Lol same here
I bet he/she starved themselves because once you eat after starving yourself, your body needs to store extra fat, thus causing you to gain.
you did lose the weight it is turning into muscule and muscule weighs more than fat so its ok
Don't look at the scale - go by how your clothes fit you! Scales are a dieters enemy because you just feel dejected when you don't see the huge numbers of pound loss that you were expecting, and then just "give up"! Keep up the good work and watch those inches whittle away!!!
The same thing happened to me! It turned out my scale only goes up to 300lbs and I'd actually dropped from 590 lbs to 296 lbs. Only when I looked close did I realise the needle was doing one less lap around the dial before settling down. I'd check that if I were you.
You didn't realize that you lost almost 300 pounds??????????????????
Jesus Christ, sarcasm guys, sarcasm!! I swear, there's enough stupidium in FML to last the human race 1000 years.
All you people saying 'muscle weighs more than fat' are idiots. 1 pound of muscle and 1 pound of fat WEIGH THE SAME, the difference is the 1 pound of muscle is a lot smaller than the 1 pound of fat so someone who is 170 pounds and is muscular will look smaller than someone who is 170 pounds and is fat. Just thought I'd clarify this : P BTW the human body is not capable of building 6 pounds of muscle in a month unless your on steroids. So yeah, better make some adjustments on that diet.
I get what you're trying to say, but by that logic, stones are not heavier than feathers, because 1 pound of each is still 1 pound. 1 pound of anything will weigh the same as 1 pound of anything. The difference here is weight in relation to volume, and as you said yourself, 1 pound of muscle looks slimmer than 1 pound of fat.
I get what your saying, but still, you cannot build 6lbs of muscle in a month.
You just proved there point. Not sure what you were trying to do here by reiterating what they just said
Sorry the comment above was to preetaleet
Dipshit allert!
you contradicted yourself. you said 1 pound of fat is smaller than 1 pound of muscle. Then you went on to saying someone that weighs 170 and is muscular is going to be smaller than someone that is 170 pounds and is fat....thus, you may want to rethink your logic
theghost1309, the comments were posted at the same time (as least the time stamp for me is the same) so relax yourself

Muscle weighs more than fat. If you are excersizing and building muscle mass. That's why
