Working with chemicals that can cause minor burns, i'm surprised your equipment let some of it get to your skin. I have many questions, such as : what were you showered in ? (the whole biohazard thing lets me think it's also really toxic) Were you actually wearing all the protections it requires ? How did such a thing even happen ? Anyway, i hope you'll be okay OP. Since whatever it was touched you enough to cause minor burns.

You deserve it. It is not difficult to research the chemicals you work with and you should always do so. I also wonder how you got the job if you do not know essential things like this.
