Today, I found out I sleepwalk. How you might ask? By awakening the moment just before I fell from the stairs. I was better off sleeping. FML

Poor OP. Sleepwalking can be scary. My mother has slept walked since she was a child and regularly screams every couple nights from nightmares she's having. I see and sometimes talk to her when she's sleepwalking and her eyes are wild and her talking doesn't make sense. One time she said it was 3 or 4 in the morning and it wasn't even midnight yet. She laughs about all this though.

They're everywhere... Until I run into something and wake up, then sheepishly go back to my room. Honestly, that's why I don't think it's a big deal to wake a sleepwalker. I just realise I was having a flashback and go back to bed.

My mom didn't care about the old wives tale. I used to sleep walk into the fridge and take food into my room. She didn't like that very much, so she would shake me until I woke up. I'm such a fatty!

Aw, guys, it's very humbling to be told "Thanks for your service." To the point that a "You're welcome." would feel presumptuous to respond with, so I often say "My pleasure." And honestly, I enjoyed my tours of duty very much. In the civilian world, I'm often flippant about that past, myself, because it's just that: the past. And in any case, for whatever issues remain, laughter is still the best medicine. For the record, then: a fun society like you guys is worth defending and worth coming home to. So raise a glass, brothers! Cheers to all!
