Today, I found out I was getting a divorce. My wife is leaving me for my brother, saying that now that he has money there is nothing that can stand in their way. I recently decided to send him money to help him get back on his feet. FML

Today, in a moment reminiscent of Two and a Half Men, my divorce lawyer screwed me over and gave my soon-to-be-ex-wife 90% of everything. I now need to pay a new lawyer to fix what she screwed up. And yes, she was lashing out at me because my brother had sex with her then never called her back. FML

Today, I found out my 35 year-old brother got divorced 18 months ago when my now ex-sister-in-law told me via Facebook messenger, and asked me to tell my parents, as both of them were too scared to do it themselves. FML

Today, my brother's life was ripped apart. His wife has chosen to no longer be his wife and is trying to keep his dog as well. My brother has always been proud of his family and hopeful for the future. He will spring back, but this came out of left field. FML

Today, my wife wants a divorce. Apparently, she only married me for my potential, since my twin brother is a lawyer, she hoped I’d become a success as well, but since I’m content to be a carpenter, she considers me a disappointment and a failure. FML

Today, my brother asked his wife for a divorce, but she got so mad at him that he backtracked and told her it was a prank I'd put him up to. She’s still mad as hell at him, but thanks to his lie my name is now mud in our entire family. I was at work all day, and I did nothing wrong. FML

Why warn them? Let the money run out, then watch the ***** and the traitor suffer. Or better yet, make it worse for them. OP said he 'sent' his brother money. If this was some kind of tracked transaction he can prove, there must be some kind of legal recourse to demand his repayment when they're already broke, then leave them to die on the streets when you take the roof from over their heads.

Think of it like this. if he is needing you to lend him money to get back on his feet, then both him and your wife will be in very sad shape in a few months when the moneys gone. Be glad your rid of her and hurry and divorce her before she claims she needs you to support her again!

At least you know the truth about them now. If the old saying is true and time heals all wounds, you should be back to dating in future. Let's hope you can find someone who loves you and will stay with you for the rest of your life. Unless you have another brother, in which case it might take awhile to find that "special" girl. Family reunions are gonna be awkward.
