I think the fact you can say someone 'made you' quit your job is probably one of many signs you should not be with that person.
He didn't 'make' you do anything.
Sorry, but you don't know that. You don't know what was going on or how he managed to manipulate her.
Forcing you to quit should have been a red flag. Ditch that chump!
"Made you" quit? Lol.

My mother always told me never to rely on a man when it comes to money. I think that applies here.
Well, sometimes in relationships it makes sense if one partner takes the financial burden for a bit. My mum depended on my dad's wage when she re-trained at university, now she provides more income. The important thing is mutual trust and respect and it being a positive thing for both partners.
What a douche.
I'd still leave.. **** being treated like that. karma will be coming around big time for that nugget.
I think alarm bells should have started ringing when he MADE you leave your job. He was controlling and now he's a cheat. I hope you're now single. No-one deserves a controlling, cheating boyfriend.

Thats not someone you should be spending time with. Break up with him
Looks like it's time you went back on the market. Once a cheater always a cheater. Good luck, op.
