That sucks, OP. But it's part of the world we live in. People can be really judgemental with no legitimate basis whatsoever and there's not a thing anyone can do to change their minds. :/

Hey I know the feeling! It is actually my boyfriends grandmother. We haven't meet everyone that I have talked to says we are good together but according to grandma i am too old for her grandson. We have a seven year age difference. Hopefully when we officially meet in January in NY she will reconsider and maybe I get lucky. My boyfriend wants me to meet his family *frustrated*
