Off she goes.
my mom did the exact same thing to me while I was at school. we worked it out - I required her to pay off the balances asap and never, ever do that again. our relationship sucked for a while, but it's good now. Credit monitoring and forgiveness. :)
Well it will be useful to you, becasue you can get on with your life and get your credit record on track. And it works out for your mum because she commited a crime and needs to play for it.
first of all, turn your freaking mom in. she stole, she ruined your future, she deserves jail. period. forgiveness is great, certainly forgive her, but she broke a law, you need to let the law run it's course.
If you deny the charges while knowing who did it and do not turn her in, then you're an accomplice. You have to either do that, or pay ot and keep quiet about it. I would tell.
Wow... If it was me I would report her! What kind of parent modeling is that showing your kids that it is okey to do Identity theft just because they are using their kids information. Now your F***ed trying to fix your credit back up. BTW don't be aiding your mom you might get in trouble with the law too!
send her ass to jail. then when she gets out sue her ass. call the credit card companies and tell them that your mom is in jail for identity theft and that your cards were fraudulent.

Come on. Grow a pair and turn her in.
thats probably why she does what she does. If we didnt have consequences for breaking the law do you really think people would follow them as much as we do now?
