That happened to me a few years ago, with loans in my name. It's probably the hardest situation you've ever been in, especially if your mother is telling you she loves you the entire time and comes up with excuses and uses guilt trips altogether... Finding about payments you're supposed to be making 6 months later when collection agencies start calling is no fun.
Just report her. You will also get in trouble so you should just get it over with.
tl;dr other comments. I'd basically give her two options, correct the wrongdoings, or get turned in. Your life shouldn't have to suffer due to someone else making a poor decision. Tell her to fix it on her own, or go through that whole mess of having the identify theft mess dealt with legally. After all if it weren't for the fact that she's your mother, you wouldn't have a second thought about about dealing with it legally.
you're the asshole. have you ever seen what destroyed credit can do? turn her evil, corrupt ass in.
i'm am so sorry the same thing happened to me. and then she escalated her life ruining stunts because i wouldn't do anything over any of it. my grandmother would cry and beg me not to. i almost went to jail over her stunts. she forged my information to lease a car and unbeknown-est to me also had a suspended license and in my car i got pulled over and hand cuffed on christmas day until they realized i wasn't her. i wish i would've done something about it the first time all of the horrible things that wouldn't have had a chance to happen if she knew i wasn't going to let her get away with it. good luck and i am so sorry this happened to you. it's one of those things i wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. it's been a decade now and i still haven't gotten it all straightened out x_x
**** that. She knew what she was doing and you are stting yourself up for more fraud by letting her get away with this. Shes not going to pay the bills and you are still ****** for life. So yea ydi for not showing her that actions have consequences.

Come on. Grow a pair and turn her in.
thats probably why she does what she does. If we didnt have consequences for breaking the law do you really think people would follow them as much as we do now?
