whoa, now... op never said why they divorced. she could have left him because he was abusive or cheating, etc. almost everyone bitches about paying alimony or child support. while I don't agree with every case, sometimes its well deserved. he could have cheated, and ditches her with a couple of kids, leaving her to struggle to make ends meet, in which case he should pay up. or I guess she could be a bitch... just saying there isn't enough info to pick sides.
They REALLY need to change the divorcing laws. They suck balls.
The insurance is going up because OP's now single, a pre-nup can't change that. *Think*, people!
very SORRY 2 hear that
Your insurance is going up to what it would be for any other single male not because you are divorced!
Uh, #111 if he hadn't gotten divorced he'd be a MARRIED male...not a single male. So yeah, his insurance is going up because he is divorced. Idiot.
Says the person who apparently couldn't figure out how to work the reply button.....
still better than keeping her divorce is so expensive cause its ****** worth every penny of it
I feel your pain!

The good ol' 50/50 split. She gets everything you have, you get everything you can afford from the duvorce forward, minus child support and alimony, while she never works again. Great system isn't it?
What's hers is hers, and what's yours is also hers. Take solace in the fact that she's no longer in your life.
