get some help and stop complaining about it. be proactive
u totally sound lke this grl in my FYE class.
so maybe break the cycle? i have the same problem. i get really overwhelmed with schoolwork and start to have terrible breakdowns and its to the point where i cant focus on anything. really though, all i have to do is just stop caring and it works out find. not giving a shit. its pretty much the cure for everything.
one word.... XANAX!!! dont worry tho i feeel ya.
Talk to people about it. It'll get better :) I went through such a bad time with panic attacks but rarely suffer from them now. Good luck to you.
These people who are telling you to "just get over it" have obviously never experienced anxiety or panic attacks, so don't listen to them. I have suffered from depression and anxiety attacks on and off since my mom died almost 8 years ago, and it's HORRIBLE. Make sure to see your doctor, maybe try some anti-depressants like a low dose of Zoloft, which is what I've taken and it's helped a lot. Go to a therapist and try yoga, I hear it helps. Based on everyone else's advice, I would appeal to the school so they can understand what you are going through and you can stay in school.
And don't smoke pot to fix your problems, because it will just make your paranoid and therefore more anxious.
ALRIGHT NOW READ ME HERE...VERY IMPORTANT... The amount of ignorance here blows my mind. First you need to get help. It's very common. Studies show it actually affects from 5 to 10% of students. Therapy + Medication is the way to go for the more severe type of anxiety. You need to know that ONLY therapy will make it go away forever. Medication helps coping, but won't solve your problem. There are great books on Amazon if you can't afford therapy. Some of them are 10$ I suggest you buy Hope and Help for your Nerves by Dr. Claire Weekes. It's a classic that will make you understand why you are going through all this and what to do about it. I've been there from 17 to 22 years old. Only at 22 I discovered these. I've been going to school without almost ANY anxiety. Back to the normal me, mostly, but a more mature version of myself. I believe these things happen for a reason. I also suggest you go to www.controllinganxiety.com and listen to the audio clips. They'll help you out quick. Keep your chin up. Cheers.
Yeh man i suffer from the same problem and i want to say elscorcho has got the right idea. Get medication but the best way to get through it is by therapy. But DONT listen to the crack pots saying to drink and spoke pot. My doctor told me that will make your problem worse. Alcohol is an antidepressant and pot screws up the part of your brain that could be causing this in the first place. I wish you the best of luck and i want you to know that theres people ou there just like you and yes it makes it seem like your life ******* sucks, but you can get through it,

Smoke some weed. That will help with the anxiety. Also, realise that there is more to life then good grades. They help sure but they are not the be all and end all. And life really begins after you finish school. Not during.
Speak with your school's disability services. I've had the same thing happen to me before, and it ish totally not cool.
