Today, I found out that me and my best friend are both pregnant. We live together, and both had one night stands with the same guy. Now we are going to be each raising his children in the same house while he has decided to "not get involved" and move to a different state. FML

I've heard that when girls live together their cycles sync up so if that is true it is quite possible that they could both become pregnant at the same time. Sperm can live inside a girl for like a week i believe, so even if their one night stands were a couple days apart it could happen. Unlikely, yes, but still possible.

i don't see how you expected any sympathy. that's usually how one night stands work. the whole "not getting involved" thing is included in one night stands. no attachments, no problems. YDI for expecting him to stay, and YDI for not protecting yourself, especially when it involves strangers and equally promiscuous roommates.
