Today, I found out that my 50-year-old Father is the 'Sugar Daddy' to a 20-year-old. He wasted my college funds on her, which I have been dutifully saving for ever since I was 10. FML

Wow, his name isn't Pete, is it? My 23 year old wife and mother of my child just left me for the 50 year old married father or two who she's been sleeping with. FML too.

Hmmm, according to Wikipedia, it's between 16 and 18. I guess we're all wrong.

lol, Wikipedia? GTFO. I just checked Wikipedia, and it says Texas is 17, anyway.

let me think here... in Oklahoma it's 16 with parents consent. and in either Kentucky or tenesee it's either 12 or 14

ok I lied. 3 states are at 14 arkansas, Iowa and I forgot the other. it's hard on an iPod touch.

Wikipedia, a nonprofit organization with over 1,500 administrators working around the clock, designed to be a dependable source of information, which also supplied you with the correct answer that you searched for. yah. wikipedia sux

#27 That would be one hell of a coincidence. Also, OP, he has to pay it back. Otherwise you have her arrested for prostitution, him arrested for soliciting a prostitute/minor (if she has been under-age at any point), and theft. If he doesn't pay it back, I'd say this is one case where you are allowed to put your feet to his overused happy sacks. She's a *****, he's a bastard, You get your money back, or you sue and win.

Nonsense. How would he even get to the money you've saved? You probably wasted your own college funds on something lame and are affraid to admit it.

Wow, what a good reply, I am properly chastised and will stand in line with the other beggars holding up my hand. Actually, my parents opened my first bank account for me when I was 6. I opened my first savings account when I got my first job at age 12, no parents necessary. Seems that y'alls laws suck then! For the 'land of the free' your laws suck!

I'd like to know what bank you opened a savings account at at the age of 12 with no parents necessary.

YDI FOR EXPECTING EVERYTHING TO BE HANDED TO YOU, YA ******* SPOILED ROTTEN LITTLE EDUCATION HUNGRY LITTLE SHIT!! MONEY'S NOT YOURS UNTIL YOU MOVE THE **** OUT AND EVEN THEN YOU SHOULD PAY BACK YOUR PARENTS FOR RAISING YOUR SORRY, LAZY ASS FOR SO LONG!! ^^^ I predict that will be the bulk of most people's comments when they decide OP deserves it here. It's the same thing every FML that involves someone's parents spending the OP's money.

No need to yell! However the OP deserves it since he/she did not have her parents removed from his/her account the day he/she turned 18.

But you're assuming the OP is 18 or older...If he or she hasn't started college yet it's a safe bet the OP is only 16 or 17. Therefore he/she wouldn't have moved out yet.

You know #41, you say that the children should pay back parents for having to raise them, but children didn't have any choice in being born. Parents NEVER have the right to complain about having to raise children. If they didn't want children then they should have taken proper preventative measures, or not had sex at all.

Bab, Luckster (#41) is saying that she predicts that will be the bulk of responses, not that she believed that. =) People have actually said that before on here.

Gotta love how people miss the point entirely in a 'shout', followed by an explanation.
