Today, I found out that my boyfriend was going to propose to me about three months ago. I was completely surprised and asked why he didn't. At that time, I had told him to stop looking at me like that and go buy me some damn tacos. I was 2 months pregnant then. Now he wants to wait a couple of years. FML

Can you blame him for not asking to marry you when you're being rude to him like that? It looks like it hit him hard because he still remembers what you said to him. It's nice to see you guys have a pretty good line of communication, but I wouldn't hold this against him. All the thought was there. If it bums you out so much, maybe you should be the one asking him to marry you.

I don't get why people here are focusing on one wise crack. The guy has put her on some kind of ******* two year probation before he will marry her. After making a baby with her. That is complete bullshit that is way behind one wisecrack to make the guy stop looking at her funny.

I have had many pregnant friends and I was around when my mom was pregnant with my little brother so I have a pretty good idea on what it's like when you have to put up with the bitchiness. NEVER have I seen a female have the level of hormonal imbalances you insinuate having after 8 weeks...odds are you were a slight bitch to begin with... mood swings occur during pregnancy yes, but no matter how upset you get you can still control what you say so not only were you rude, you chose to be. I hate how females use being pregnant as an excuse to be a complete and utter bitch. we understand the whole hormone thing and if you're crying or grumpy or upset we understand you have no control over the changes occuring but what you DO have control over is the words that come out of your mouth and that's where the problem lies...therefore moodswings,grumpiness, crying, etc= acceptable. rudeness,bitchiness,poorly chosen words= not acceptable... not to mention you were probably barely showing if at all and you were in a public place so you had people staring in sympathy for your boyfriend...embarassing for him and you shouldve been too...you expected him to tell you how he feels about you and propose after that? no ma'am. next time shut your taco hole, think about what you're going to say, and try please and thank you...YDI
