Please don't breed.
1. Pull the lever to pop the fuel flap open. 2. Check side mirrors. 3. Win! Don't be such a lazy dumbass by calling your parents, that's just stupid. Could have left yourself a note, drawn an arrow in permanent marker on the flip side of the sun visor, or just made an effort to remember what side it was on!
Not all cars have the lever to pull from inside the car. Though I completely agree that OP has ways to know which side. YDI OP.
Even if it were one of those you have to physically get out to open, the metal over the lid sticks out so you can hook your finger underneath and open it. You can see it from the sideview mirror, too.
get out of your car look at one side of said car if it's not that then walk your lazy ass around the car and o wait you found it.
It's not the fact that you didn't know what the arrow meant that bothers me. It's that you couldn't remember and had to call your parents that's bothersome.
I remember learning to walk around your car for a safety check before you drive your car. Why not check which side you put gas in, then? :)
Normally there are a ton of things I could forgive a person for not knowing about their own car, but not knowing what that arrow was for is probably the one thing I can't.
The ones that don't have an arrow are almost always on the drivers side. So even without the arrow, you should be able to figure it out.
Now just don't forget that the arrow is there!

Why do you need to call your parents when you could get out of the car and check for yourself? C'mon, it's not that hard.
You should know what side it's on after your first week with the car
